Jagrow performance intercooler is a device used in turbocharged and supercharged engines to cool down the compressed air from the turbo/supercharger before it enters the engine.

A customized intercooler core is an intercooler that has been modified or built to specific specifications to fit the needs of a particular engine or vehicle.

The customization can involve changing the size, shape, material,color or other design features of  the intercooler to improve its performance and efficiency.

We have below 3 options for the intercooler core.

• Bar and Plate
• Tube Fin
• Delta Fin

Bar and plate intercooler can operate better at high temperatures without loss of efficiency and can transfer heat better. The design of bar and plate core promotes better heat transfer than tube fin core for handling high booster applications. The ability of the core to handle high lift is determined by the thickness of the brazing pieces, fins, side rods and top plate. Another benefit of the design is its ability to withstand potential abuse when mounted on the front of the vehicle. The disadvantages of bar and plate intercooler are increased weight (compared to tube fin) and higher cost.

Also we can produce the core in different specification.

Fin style and density also play an important role in intercooler performance.

There are many different types of fin designs, but the most common in this application are serrated, louvered, and set off fins. While this is just our preference, we found the serrated/louvered fins to be very effective at cooling the outer fins. Shutters help add more surface cooling area.

We can choose the density of the fin.More fins performance better in heat exchange.

Out fins height:9.5mm or 8mm  Density:9.5mm-4mm  Crest distance:8mm-3mm  

Inner fins height:6.8mm Density:5mm
